All subtitle and transcript processing happens entirely in your web browser using client-side JavaScript. When you paste text, upload a file, or use any of our tools:

• Your files are never uploaded to any server
• Your text is never transmitted over the network
• Your content is never stored on any server
• Your data is never shared with third parties

Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. We do not require accounts, logins, or any form of registration. We do not use cookies for tracking purposes.

Our hosting provider may collect standard server logs (IP addresses, browser types, pages visited) for operational purposes. These logs are standard for any website and are not used by us to identify or track individual users.

We use privacy-safe analytics (Google Analytics 4 or Plausible) to understand how our tools are used. These analytics track only usage metadata — such as which tools are used, which options are selected, and general input/output size ranges. We never track, collect, or transmit any pasted text, uploaded file content, file names, or personal data through analytics.

Third-Party Services

We may use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) or Plausible Analytics for privacy-safe usage tracking. These services collect anonymized interaction data (page views, button clicks, tool usage) but never receive any pasted text, uploaded file content, or personal information. You can opt out of Google Analytics by using a browser extension or disabling JavaScript.

Advertising

CleanTextKit may display advertisements through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies for ad delivery, frequency capping, and measurement. CleanTextKit does not collect, store, or share any pasted text, subtitle content, transcript content, or uploaded file contents with advertisers.

CleanTextKit may use cookies for advertising (via Google AdSense) and analytics. Any cookies that may be set are limited to essential functionality, advertising delivery, and anonymized analytics — they do not track your pasted text or uploaded content.

Children's Privacy

Our tools are safe for all ages. Since we do not collect any personal information, there are no special considerations for children's privacy beyond the protections already built into our architecture.
