What does removing line breaks do?

What's the difference between single and double line breaks?
A single line break moves text to the next line within the same paragraph. A double line break (blank line) separates paragraphs. This tool lets you target each type independently — remove single breaks to join broken lines while preserving paragraph structure.
Why does copied text from PDFs have broken formatting?
PDFs preserve the visual layout of text, so copying often captures the line breaks as they appear on the page — not as flowing paragraphs. Each visual line becomes a separate text line, breaking sentences in the middle. This tool fixes that by rejoining broken lines into proper paragraphs.
