How it works

Paste text with unwanted line breaks — from PDFs, emails, copied web content, or any source with broken formatting. Choose which types of breaks to remove and get clean, flowing text instantly. All processing happens in your browser.

Common use cases

  • Fixing text copied from PDFs that breaks mid-sentence
  • Cleaning emails with hard-wrapped lines
  • Reformatting copied web content into flowing paragraphs
  • Preparing text for word processors or note-taking apps
What's the difference between single and double line breaks?
A single line break moves text to the next line within the same paragraph. A double line break (blank line) separates paragraphs. This tool lets you target each type independently.
Why does copied text from PDFs have broken formatting?
PDFs preserve the visual layout of text, so copying often captures the line breaks as they appear on the page — not as flowing paragraphs. This tool fixes that by rejoining broken lines.
Will it join all text together into one block?
Not by default. With 'Preserve paragraphs' enabled, only single line breaks are removed while paragraph breaks (blank lines) are kept intact, maintaining document structure.
