Can I remove a single timestamp format?
Yes. The options panel lets you toggle each timestamp format independently. If you only need to remove bracket timestamps like [00:01] while keeping other formats, disable the formats you want to keep. This gives you precise control over which timestamps are stripped.
Does this work with SRT and VTT files?
Yes. Paste the raw contents of any .srt or .vtt file. Enable 'Remove full SRT/VTT timestamp lines' to strip sequence numbers along with their timestamp lines. This produces clean, readable text from any subtitle format — SRT, VTT, WebVTT, and more.
Can I keep paragraph breaks?
Yes. When timestamps are removed, the tool preserves the original line structure and paragraph breaks. Enable the 'Merge into paragraphs' checkbox if you want to join short consecutive lines into flowing paragraphs. Without it, each line remains on its own row exactly as in the original transcript.
